Physics is all around us every day of our
lives. In this course we will take a careful look
at familiar experiences and objects around us, and see
how they are viewed through the eyes of a
physicist. There are no prerequisites for this
course; only basic algebraic and geometric mathematical
skills are needed.

All students registered
in this course are required to have an iclicker
personal response system, which are available at
the Campus Bookstore. Each clicker has a unique ID
which you must enter on the course page on portal under
Tools - i>clicker Remote Registration. During
class time these will be used for informal discussion
questions as well as quizzes which count toward your
