Sabine Stanley Awarded Prestigious Sloan Fellowship

Professor Sabine Stanley has been named a recipient of a prestigious Sloan Research Fellowship for 2011. The $50,000 awards are given to early-career scholars in recognition of their achievements and their potential to contribute substantially to their fields. Winners in the fields of chemistry, computer science, economics, mathematics, evolutionary and computational molecular biology, neuroscience and physics are nominated by their peers and selected by an independent panel of senior scholars. Professor Stanley is one of only three new fellows hailing from Canadian Universities, and the only new Canadian fellow in Physics.
