Hayhoe is one of a small but growing number of scientists willing to engage climate change doubters face to face. Unlike most of her colleagues, she is driven as much by the tenets of her faith as the urgency of the science.

On Wednesday, February 9, 2011 students from the Departments of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Mathematics and Physics gathered together for the second of three career events part of a series entitled Backpack to Briefcase.
Emily Farquhar has been named President of Fugro Gravity & Magnetic Services.

Emily Farquhar has been named President of Fugro Gravity & Magnetic Services.

Farquhar earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in geophysics and a Master of Science degree in geophysics/physics from the University of Toronto.
