New mentorship program launched

Connecting Alumni and Students

Mentorship program opening activityOur graduates are the best source of inspiration and guidance for students who are searching for their career paths. Simply by sharing your experiences and answering questions, you will be helping students to make informed choices as they embark on an important and exciting phase of their lives.

What better way to give back to your university than to share your knowledge and expertise with a student?

The Department of Physics Mentorship program has been developed to help enhance the student experience for physics students. The program provides students with valuable career advice by matching students with alumni and friends at a critical point in their education. It also will provide mentors the opportunity to connect with students and contribute to their alma mater in a meaningful way.

The volunteer commitment by mentors is flexible and requires on average approximately two hours a month for less than one academic year (November - March)
