Loan Periods

Undergraduate Students 2 weeks
Graduate Students/Staff 4 weeks
Faculty 6 weeks
Short Term Loan Books Out: after 3 p.m. 
Due: 9:45 a.m. the following working day

 

All registered University of Toronto students, faculty and staff ,and others with a valid university library card may borrow from our library.

Extended renewals for Physics faculty, staff and graduate students are available unless item in demand. 

Self-renewals can be made by selecting my.account from the Quick Links in the Library Catalogue..

    Short term loan books are restricted to library use until 3:00 p.m. after which time they may be borrowed for overnight use.  Advance reservations for Reserve books may be made at the Circulation counter.

    Self-Hold on a book can be placed in the Library Catalogue at the Item Information screen of the book record by using the Request Item feature. When book becomes available, an email message will be sent.

    Journals (bound and loose) cannot be removed from the library. The only exception is when an article needed is more than 30 pages long.

    In the event of loss of library materials, actual replacement cost will be charged.
