Registration

If you are a teacher at an Ontario secondary school, and you are interested in participating in POPTOR, but did not register last year, please contact us by email, fax, or download the materials from the links below.

If you are a student, we prefer to be able to work with you through your teacher; if for some reason you cannot enlist one, then please do contact us directly.

Registration Materials

**NEW - ON-LINE REGISTRATION**

The forms below provide all the details about POPTOR;

The first mailing consists of these, plus the first problem set (Intro)

Introductory Letter
Registration Form
Cover Sheet - to accompany the return of each problem set

Schools/students who are registered for 2012-2013 will automatically be sent copies of the Problem Sets 2 to 6.

All the current problem sets are available here.

We use Adobe Acrobat Portable Document File (.pdf) format for all the POPTOR Registration Materials, Problem Sets and Solutions.
The viewer (Acrobat Reader) for this file format is available free from Adobe for all major platforms.
Other viewers may be available, depending on your platform.

Late Registration

Each year there are some students who join POPTOR after the first problem set.  In terms of competing for a place on the team, this is probably a disadvantage, but it does not necessarily eliminate a student from consideration for the May workshop or national team. Besides, team or no team, POPTOR is an excellent resource for good and very good students (or just keen ones), so we encourage you to jump in at the deep end!
