I think I've explained in the web page and in the notes what is expected. My section of the course consists of the Supplementary Notes. All questions, problems, tests, exams, are based on them. If you want to read the text book as well, you may find it useful to explain some points that my more abbreviated notes don't cover. But that is up to you. I've have used a few problems from the text, and will suggest to tutors to use parts of the Workbook - but only when the material has been covered in the Supplementary Notes.
