Research Interests:

I am currently investigating the use of pulsetrain bursts in machining of optical materials. A pulsetrain burst consists of a large number of ultrashort pulses seperated only by a few nanoseconds, a unique method of fluence delivery. This work involves optical breakdown mechanisms, plasma physics, lasers and optics and various other branches of physics.

More information to come.

Teaching and Education

I have a strong interest in teaching and lecturing, and a good deal of experience. Further details can be found in my Teaching Dossier (pdf file).

Personal interests

My hobbies include drawing, Capoeira, writing and going out with friends. Files:
