Research Interests

The standard model of electromagnetic, weak and strong processes is one in which the quark constituents of matter
and the weakly-interacting leptons (electron, muon, tau and neutrinos) are described by the quantum chromodynamics
(QCD) and electroweak theory (SU(2)xU(1)). This model has been very successful in describing the known spectra
and decays of the light mesons and baryons

New experimental results have recently been published which show the existence of new states of matter that differ
from the usual expectations of the quark structure of matter. The most recent publications listed below deal with
the properties of some of these and also with predictions of decays of B mesons into more standard particles.
These new states of matter, if confirmed will greatly aid our understanding of the physics of our universe.
