Weekly Problem Sets

Each week, problems will be assigned (and listed on this page, below). They will be discussed by the TA's in tutorial, and then will be due in the following tutorial. The problems may be done collaboratively, but everyone needs to turn one in. They will be graded as complete or incomplete.

Grading Scheme

10%: Weekly problem sets
10%: Numerical Assignment (due March 6, 2008)
30%: Midterm Exam (March 7, 2008, 9:00 AM. See below)
10%: Written "Quiz" (in March: date to be assigned)
40%: Final Exam (date to be assigned)
