SIL: Silicon Microstrip Radiation Detector (Under Development)

Semiconductor tracking detectors are now ubiquitous in particle and nuclear physics. .

In this experiment students can study the characteristics and capabilities of silicon microstrip detectors.

This is a brand-new apparatus and there is not yet a write-up, but see Additional Resources below.
