Abstract:

Mar 26 Colloq"Spintronics" is a catch-all phrase coined to describe devices that exploit electron spin transport to achieve a desired function. This talk provides an introductory overview of the key concepts, focusing on fundamental aspects of spin control in semiconductor devices, both with and without the presence of magnetic components.
