What are quantum images, how do you produce them, and what does one do with them? There are a number of answers to each part of this question, and this talk will cover our approach to producing our version of quantum images. The hope is that we can perform optical detection that is higher in sensitivity or resolution than one can achieve classically, or that we can perform information processing operations on images with improved performance. Once you have quantum correlated beams, however, you are also allowed to address a number of fundamental physics questions using them. One example that we attempt to address is, how fast can a quantum correlation go? Can light (or quantum correlations) go “faster than light” (or at least faster than neutrinos)?
