Enhancing representation in Physics: Understanding gender gaps in STEM and High School student enrollment choices

This talk examines the persistent gender gaps in Physics and STEM disciplines across Canadian classrooms. We report on provincial High School enrolment trends in Physics for the past eleven years, taken in secondary schools across almost the entire country, and how these choices impede efforts to close the gender gap in STEM at the university level.
