Congratulations to Associate Professor Miriam Diamond!

The department is delighted to share that Professor Miriam Diamond has been awarded tenure and will be promoted to the rank of Associate Professor on July 1, 2026. This recognizes Professor Diamond's work and accomplishments in the search for Dark Matter, including her leadership in the Super Cryogenic Dark Matter Search (SuperCDMS) experiment at the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory Laboratory (SNOLAB); her role in planning, design and technical coordination of the proposed MAssive Timing Hodoscope for Ultra-Stable neutraLpArticles (MATHUSLA) at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC); and other important contributions to research in particle physics through this early-career period. At the same time, she has served as a dedicated and much appreciated instructor in our undergraduate and graduate programs, providing many of our students with wonderful learning experiences.
