Undergraduate research in the Department of Physics is an important and unique aspect of a physics undergraduate experience at the University of Toronto. It provides you with hands-on research opportunities that reinforces your technical and problem-solving skills that are of use in virtually every endeavour, whether it is in employment after your undergraduate studies or subsequent post-graduate work.
There are several options for such experiences, including supervised study courses, research project courses and several immersive summer research fellowships.
