Ultra-Cold atoms for investigations into atomic tunneling

This poster, presented in August 1998 at the 16th International Conference
on Atomic Physics, describes recent work on a laser-cooling experiment
which will be applied to studies of atomic tunneling through dipole-force
barriers. The work described here concentrates on some magnetic-force
cooling and velocity-selection techniques we have been developing.
