For Mirco Siercke in Aephraim
Steinberg's lab. The Bias Field Ramp circuit works in two modes:
integrate and track. In normal operation, a control voltage is
integrated as the output. To reset the integrator to a known value, a track mode is used
where the output tracks the inverted input. Basic specs are:
- Output range (Vo): -3.7V to +6V normal, -5V to +8V absolute maximum.
- Control input range (Vc): ±5V normal, ±10V abs max.
- Mode input: TTL, logic "0" is track mode, "1" is integrate mode.
- Integrate mode transfer curve: dVo/dt = -1 * Vc V/S.
- Track mode transfer curve: Vo = -1 * Vc ±5%.
- Track mode slew rate: 1V/µSmin.
- Integrator recovery time while in track mode: 10mS time constant.
