Overview

For Mirco Siercke in Aephraim Steinberg's lab. The Bias Field Ramp circuit works in two modes: integrate and track. In normal operation, a control voltage is integrated as the output. To reset the integrator to a known value, a track mode is used where the output tracks the inverted input. Basic specs are:

Output range (V_o): -3.7V to +6V normal, -5V to +8V absolute maximum.
Control input range (V_c): ±5V normal, ±10V abs max.
Mode input: TTL, logic "0" is track mode, "1" is integrate mode.
Integrate mode transfer curve: dV_o/dt = -1 * V_c V/S.
Track mode transfer curve: V_o = -1 * V_c ±5%.
Track mode slew rate: 1V/µS_min.
Integrator recovery time while in track mode: 10mS time constant.
