NOW HIRING:  Postdoctoral Fellow, and Graduate students

We're on the lookout for great students with a keen interest in a broad range of physics. For Fall 2018, we have immediate room for 2–3 students, one in our more fundamental research at very high light intensities (experimental or theoretical), and 2 in our more applied work with materials and/or biophysics/biomedical studies (experimental).

We are right now (July 2019) seeking to hire a great Postdoctoral Fellow. We will start interviews from 19 July, but continue to look at applications until the position is filled. Please see our online  posting.

We welcome inquiries from highly qualified and ambitious researchers holding the PhD/DPhil who have demonstrated excellence and promise in these areas.

We're not hiring more technical staff just at the moment.

We typically take 2 or 3 students in the summer, usually NSERC USRA award holders.

We often have capacity for senior thesis, or 4th year project students (e.g. PHY479). Students interested for academic year 2018/2019 can ask in August/Sept. 2018.

We sometimes hire undergraduates and co-op students during term to help out part-time in the lab on certain projects; please contact us.
