Since the primary concerns of a senior lecturer are the quality of lectures and undergraduate laboratories, much effort has been concentrated on the development of course curricula and lecture demonstrations as well as the introduction and improvement of experiments in the laboratories.

My secondary focus has been on the absorption of hydrogen in metals which culminated in the production of the monograph Phase Diagrams of Binary Hydrogen Alloys, Ed. F.D. Manchester, ASM International, (2000).
