Content-free phrases

Here are some words that don't mean anything. They are compiled from real documents that my friends and I have had the honour of encountering. You may find them useful if you are composing content-free text, eg, for a grant application. You can also use them as warning signs of nonsense in something that you are reading, or entertain yourself by playing bingo with this list during pointless presentations. For extra fun, you could combine items from this list into even more meaningless sentences, or turn them into a play.1
