Special Topics in Physics - "Wavelike dark matter searches"

Official description

The non-gravitational nature of dark matter is a complete mystery. But if dark matter is composed of new types of low-mass particles, then it can have coherent wavelike properties. This course is an introduction to wavelike dark matter (WDM), focusing on the applications of atomic & optical physics in state-of-the-art WDM search experiments: examples include WDM searches using microwave cavities, superconducting qbits, atomic magnetometers and atomic clocks.

Background preparation in quantum optics and E&M will be useful.
