Welcome new CAO Mladen Stojanovic

Mladen joined the Department as our incoming CAO on August 11. He is currently in a period of overlap with our outgoing CAO, Peter Hurley, who will be retiring later this year. Mladen will be responsible for the administrative, financial, and operational management of the Department, as well as formulation and implementation of long-range plans, and managing our administrative, financial, and technical staff.

Mladen has been at the University of Toronto since 2016, serving across a range of portfolios, including: Information Technology Services (ITS); University Planning, Design, and Construction; and the recently-created Operations and Real Estate Partnerships office. He brings a wealth of experience in financial management, capital projects, procurement, space management, human resources and communications. Mladen's broad experience and skill-set will be assets as we embark on the "New Budget Model era", and take on the immense task of upgrading the physical infrastructure of the McLennan Physical Laboratories.
