Supported by the Department of Physics’s Outreach Committee and run by University of Toronto undergraduates, the “Not Quite a Lecture” outreach program aims to foster interest in the sciences by delivering physics-focused talks to high schools in the GTA. The program has experienced major growth since its inception in Fall 2023. Having given over 60 presentations on Physics, Chemistry and Biology in schools across the GTA within the last year, we are again in the midst of hosting workshops: writing new talks and equipping speakers with skills in good scientific communication in November.
