# Multi-partite and higher-dimensional quantum entanglement experiments

Abstract: We present recent progress on several experiments performed byour group on multi-partite and higher-dimensional quantum entanglement.The entangled photons are produced via spontaneous parametricdown-conversion and are entangled either in their polarization andspatial mode or in their orbital angular momentum. These multi-partiteand higher-dimensional systems serve as a resource for various quantuminformation protocols such as one-way quantum computation and highlyerror-tolerant quantum cryptography, respectively. We will talk aboutthis two specific experiments and at this occasion also give a briefoverview over other photonic experiments currently under way in ourresearch group.
