I will discuss the Jackiw-Teitelboim theory that describes the entanglement dynamics of a 2-dimensional boundary CFT. The corresponding Schwarzian theory has an interpretation in terms of entanglement renormalization. The talk will be based on 1808.05583 and 1808.10431.
