This will be a review talk of how the generation of neutrino masses might be connected with other important puzzles such as the origin of the cosmological matter-antimatter asymmetry, the strong-CP problem, dark matter, and the hints for charged-lepton flavour universality violations in semi-leptonic B-decays.
