From Celestial CFTs to Conformal Colliders and Back

We start by observing that the light-ray operators featured in the conformal collider literature are celestial primaries. This allows us to rephrase the corresponding 4D CFT correlators as probing a conformally soft matter sector of the 2D celestial CFT (CCFT). These multi-particle operators have natural generalizations which appear in phase space representations of the (even larger) celestial symmetry algebras encoded in the holomorphic collinear limits of amplitudes. We close by discussing the appearance of multiparticle operators in celestial OPEs, features of celestial CFT correlation functions when the bulk theory is itself a CFT, and the prospects for merging Celestial and Conformal Collider results.
