I discuss recent developments in the understanding of gravity on null hypersurfaces. First, after introducing the Carrollian description of null geometry, I show how Einstein equations are recast as intrinsic conservation laws of the null Brown-York tensor. Second, I discuss symmetries and the gravitational phase space induced on a null hypersurface, deriving the Poisson brackets among the gravitational fields. Third, I canonically quantize this phase space, providing evidence that gravity is a chiral CFT on null rays. Time permitting, I finally connect this to physics at future null infinity.
