Symposium on High Efficiency Photovoltaics

Solar electricity is a compelling sourceof sustainable energy considering the immense harvestable solar resource in relation tothe currentglobal energy consumption rate.

Notwithstanding the enormous progress made in recent years by the solar industry, there still remains the need to improve solar photovoltaic conversion efficiency and further reduce the cost of solar electricity in relation to conventional fossil energy sources. The Symposium on High Efficiency Photovoltaics will hostleading scientists and industry experts who will present the state-of-the-art andcurrent trends in photovoltaic and allied energyresearch and development.Topics covered will range from ‘concepts, materials and cells, to applications, systems, policies and markets’.The Symposium will providean excellent opportunity for networking for researchers and industry leaders.
