The Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS) International Mentorship Award recognizes mentors who have contributed significantly over a period of several years to the mentoring and fostering of early career researchers involved in research in the polar regions or the wider cryosphere. The 2022 award was presented to Prof. Kimberly Strong "for her devotion to the success of her students" by APECS and the ArcticNet Student Association at the ArcticNet Annual Scientific Meeting held in Toronto in December 2022.
