Prof. Dick Peltier is the recipient of a 2024 Fellowship from the Canadian Association of Physicists. The CAP Fellowship Program recognizes members of the CAP who have made significant contributions to the Canadian physics community.

Prof. Peltier was made a Fellow of the CAP in recognition of his key contributions to understanding the physics of the Earth, including glacial isostatic adjustment, mantle convection, fluid dynamics of the atmosphere and oceans, and global climate variability; and for an outstanding record of mentorship and training.
