Research:

I am interested in the global characteristics of terrestrial planets, such as internal structure, thermal evolution, gravity and magnetic fields, plate tectonics and initiation of subduction of lithosphere, mantle plumes and their interaction with the lithosphere, and magnetic properties of planetary lithosphere. I am also interested in some local problems such as the dynamics of sedimentary basins and the analysis and interpretation of regional magnetic anomaly data. Subjects Taughtterrestrial planets, earth physics, planetary physics, geomagnetism and gravity.
