Network policy
Here is some info about our network policy.
Explicit Host/Service Responsibility
Every host or network service must have a person assigned as the manager. Where not otherwise specified, the service manager will be the manager of the host that provides the service.
Rationale:
When a service is not being properly maintained or ITS reports problems, PCS must know who to contact to address the issues.
Physics Network Usage Regulations
The Physics network is a shared resource intended to facilitate the teaching and research missions of the department and associated business and service needs.
