Within the last 12 years, jet substructure techniques to identify highly Lorentz-boosted hadronically decaying SM particles has gone from unproven theoretical concept to trigger strategy at the hardware level. This seminar will investigate the path we've taken to make this successful, and what this means for the future of measurements, searches, and reconstruction strategies for LHC Run 3, HL-LHC, and beyond.
