Quantum Breaking of Scale Symmetry and the Higgs Boson

Our well understood theory of the strong interactions, QCD, generates mass from the quantum breaking of scale symmetry, known as the "trace anomaly."  I discuss the
possibility that the Higgs boson mass is likewise generated via trace anomalies, in a "maximally visible at the LHC" mode.  Perhaps all mass in nature is a quantum phenomenon.
