The Canadian Institute for Advanced Research launched four new research programs.

Department of Physics and Chemistry faculty R.J. Dwayne Miller, Department of Chemistry Faculty Lewis E. Kay as well as Oliver P. Ernst from the Departments of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics are members of the program “Molecular Architecture of Life” that is co-directed by Miller and Ernst.
