In this talk I present a family of charged, hyperscaling violating black hole solutions with hyperbolic and spherical horizons. Theories that allow for hyperscaling violation are studied in the context of condensed matter and holography. In particular, I will focus on the phase structures of these black holes and discuss special properties of the hyperbolic solution.
