Refining the holographic dictionary with kinematic space

The AdS/CFT correspondence is a duality between quantum gravity theories in d+1 dimensions, and conformal field theories in d dimensions. It can be easier to relate dual quantities in these theories by introducing a third auxiliary space, kinematic space, that reorganizes the degrees of freedom. Kinematic space has been successfully applied in the simplest case of empty AdS, but ambiguities arise for less trivial geometries. In this talk, spacetimes with point particles are considered to clarify these ambiguities. Using kinematic space, we can then refine known entries of the AdS/CFT dictionary to study CFT observables in a more fine-grained fashion.
