Non-Abelian lattice gauge theory on quantum computers

This seminar will review the first studies of non-Abelian lattice gauge theory on quantum computers and quantum annealers.  Today's qubits are noisy and the work is done on tiny lattices, but the hardware is improving rapidly.  Several formulations of the theory have been proposed by various research groups, and many interesting ideas remain to be developed and explored.  There is the potential for significant practical benefits to lattice QCD further in the future.
