An Introduction to Entanglement Cohomology
Entanglement is one of the major points of interest in modern physics. One facet is detecting entangled states. This talk aims to introduce what entanglement is mathematically. Then, we will describe the entanglement complex and entanglement cohomology described by Mainiero 2019 and by [Ferko et al. 2025], the latter of which I was a coauthor of. Finally, a 2 qubit example will be presented to see what the entanglement complex looks like for real states and how it detects entangled states.
