Anthropogenic aerosol and the Asian summer monsoon
Almost half of the world's population rely on the Asian summer monsoon (ASM) precipitation for agriculture, energy, industry, and local water resources. Small changes in the onset, intensity, and duration of the ASM can result in considerable socio-economic impacts.
